STACKHOUSE POKER

Full Rules

Stackhouse Poker is a two player game.

Both players start with ten cards consisting of four seperate hands.

Both players start with a mininimum of two hundred and forty chips. Each chip is worth ten. Every hand is played against its opposing hand.

To start the game both players put one chip as a blind on every hand. A randomised decision chooses the dealer. On winning hands, chips are added to the winning players stack and can be used as play continues.

Hand One - Ethos One. Played in the same format as Texas Holdem. Starting with one card. The highest ranking five card combination wins if reaching showdown.

Hand Two - Texas Holdem. Starting with two cards using five community cards to make the best five card hand.

Hand Three - Tri-Show. Starting with three cards and pre-flop action. When reaching the flop, both players must reveal one chosen card for thier opponent to see. The player opposite the dealer must show first. The face up cards are then discarded and play continues using the two selected cards through to turn and river. The highest five card combination wins if reaching showdown.

Hand Four - No Limit Omaha. Starting with four cards. All players use three of the community cards together with two of their hole cards to make the best five card combination.

Betting starts with pre-flop action on the player opposite the dealer. Hand one (ETHOS ONE CARD) followed by Hand two (TEXAS HOLDEM) followed by Hand three (TRI-SHOW) followed by Hand four (OMAHA). After the first pre-flop betting round has been completed the first three community cards are dealt as the flop and a second betting round follows. When hands are folded play continues from right to left. On reaching TRI-SHOW and after bets have been matched, one chosen card must be revealed by both players and shown face up. These cards are then no longer used. Play continues to OMAHA. Once this has been completed the fourth community card, the turn, is then dealt face- up. Another round of betting occurs from right to left. Once completed the fifth community card, the river, is dealt face up and another round of betting follows. All hands still in play reach showdown.

GHOST - The ghost appears when a player is unable to put blinds on starting hands. When this happens play runs straight through to showdown on the first hand in play (Ethos One). If the ghosting player wins this hand they are able to use the chip for further hands available as blinds or betting. Showdown action then opens for bets on remaining hands. This continues through the hands.
